In response to industry’s need for portable hydraulic power, Automation Services Inc. has developed a line of Portable VFD Power-units. These power-units are engineered to be Robust, provide Superior Control, and produce Less Heat than conventional systems.
Large Portable 3 Phase Model Features:
- 7.5, 10, 15, and 20HP models.
- 208, 240, 380, 480, 575, 600 VAC power (50/60 HZ 3 Phase) input power.
- UL/CUL listed NEMA 12 electrical controls.
- Large clean out covers on either end of tank for ease of cleaning.
- In-Tank filter makes changing the filter cartridge quicker, less messy and easier to dispose of then standard spin on filters.
- The reservoir top doubles as a work table which easily removes for servicing the power unit.
- The flattop reservoir is specifically designed with forklift pockets for handling from any side.
- A TEFC electric motor is controlled by a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).
- Motor Speed, Hydraulic Flow, and Direction are controlled by a Joystick that is connected to the power unit.
- Changing the motor speed will change the output flow of the hydraulic pump from a minimum to a maximum flow.
- Minimal oil temperature rise developed from power-unit and controls.

Options:
- Power line filters and line reactors to suppress noise from welding or other poor line conditions.
- Tank heaters for hydraulic oil.
- Control panel heaters.
- Custom colors.
- Two part Epoxy paint.
- NEMA 4 rated Electrical controls.
- Pendant cable lengths up to 150 feet.
- Mobile Base with Non-Marring Casters. (Removes for fork truck transport or shipping)
- Custom Hydraulic Hoses for your application.
- Hose and fittings to match system connectors.

Small Portable Single Phase Features:
- 1.5 and 3 HP models.
- 115V, 230VAC Power (60 HZ 1 Phase) input power.
- UL/CUL Listed NEMA 4 Controls.
- Roll cage frame with casters on one end.
- Louvered side panels and diamond plate cover and protect unit..
- A TEFC 3 Phase electric motor is controlled by a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).
- Changing the motor speed will change the output flow of the hydraulic pump between a minimum to a maximum flow.
- Motor Speed, Hydraulic Flow and Direction are controlled by a potentiometer and selector switch on a pendant that is connected to the power unit.
